Aamod at Dalhousie is a resort at nearly 2,000 metres above sea level, on a mountain ridge by the Khajjiar Wildlife Sanctuary, Himachal Pradesh in the very far north of India. Dalhousie is a hill station in the Chamba district. The resort is up amongst the hills in a secluded, peaceful setting.

The Kalatope – Khajjiar Wild Life Sanctuary. With views of the snow-capped Pir Panjal forest and home to the elusive Serow goat-antelope as well as Black Bear, Leopard, Barking Deer, Ghural; and rich in bird life.

Khajjiar. Meadows in Chamba valley at an altitude of nearly two kilometres above sea level, it is famous for the 10th century temple, a lake surrounded by meadows, it now offers trekking, horse riding and amazing picnic spots.

Dainkund Peak at 2,755 metres is the highest mount in Dalhousie. A trek here can also take in the Pholani Devi Temple.

The Chamera Dam Lake, built over the River Ravi  is a water sports hub near Dalhousie.

Laxmi Narayan is a 10th century temple in the Shikhara style, the oldest and the largest of all the temples in the Chamba region.
