The Grosvenor Arms is in the heart of the historic hilltop town of Shaftesbury, home of Gold Hill.
Surrounded by the stunning open Wiltshire/Dorset countryside with its beautiful villages, country pubs and walks, The Grosvenor Arms is a restaurant, bar and cafe with 16 bedrooms that is steeped in history.
Originally a medieval posting inn, it was renamed by Earl Grosvenor in 1820, and is now a focal point for this bustling town. An outstanding kitchen team use local produce, simply cooked in the atmospheric restaurant, while the cafe, bar and conservatory are open all day.
This is a wonderful place to stay a few days and explore Dorset, the coastline, Bath and Salisbury. For celebrations and functions there is also the Assembly Room and two private dining rooms.
