Hotel Diplomat is in South Mumbai – the oldest area of India’s iconic city and home to most of Mumbai’s museums, galleries, bars, restaurants and luxury retail outlets. Mumbai is on the Arabian Sea and was originally made up of seven islands. Now India’s largest city, it is an incredible sprawling hub containing an endless number of attractions, from Elephanta Island to the Asia’s biggest water theme park, an entire national park, and a wide range of stunning architecture.

The famous Gateway of India is within a few minutes’ walk, and the Hotel is in an excellent location to see some of the city’s most famous sites. Ferries to Elephanta Caves depart from the port that is just a few hundred metres from the Hotel Diplomat.
