Shoreline Residences is on Palm Jumeirah is one of three man-made islands called the Palm Islands which extend out from the United Arab Emirates coastal city of Dubai into the emerald waters of the Persian Gulf.
There are hotels, villas, apartment buildings, beaches, marinas, restaurants and retail outlets on the island, which can be reached by monorail or by road. Part of the road passes through an underwater tunnel, while the monorail offers great views as it travels above the sea. Dubai Mall. There are nearly 100 shopping malls across Dubai, the largest of which the Dubai Mall has an Olympic-sized ice-rink an aquarium, Underwater Zoo and more than 1,000 retailers.
Burj Al Arab. Possibly Dubai’s most recognisable building, the sail-shaped hotel is one of the most complex engineering feats ever achieved.
Aquaventure Waterpark. One of the world’s most thrilling waterparks with incredible rides descending from the Tower of Poseidon and the Middle East’s longest zip line.
Wild Wadi Water Park. Gravity-defying rides including the Wipeout and Riptide Flowriders, Tantrum Alley, Jumeirah Sceirah.
Dubai Marina Yacht Club. Four marinas, restaurants and shopping.
Meydan Racecourse. The 2,000 metre race course is home to the Dubai World Cup, the world’s richest horse race.
Ski Dubai in the Mall of the Emirates features the incredible indoor ski park with five runs and an area for snowboarders and tobogganing.
Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. The 10-million litre aquarium over 140 sea species. Take a glass-bottom boat tour, get into a snorkelling cage and swim with sharks.
