That is the number of listed Tudor buildings in the historic setting of Lavenham, all in pristine condition in a conservation village in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The Swan dates back to the 14th century, nothing new here you might think but it is right up to date with its facilities. General manager Michael Burn explains, ”we have just launched our new state of the art conference facilities which now include Wi-Fi and air conditioning. To add such 21st century detail to rooms blessed with 700 year old inglenook fireplaces could have been difficult but the reaction from our guests to these improvements in our much loved historic building has been incredibly positive. Now if I can just mount our I-pod’s speakers from the minstrels gallery!!!!!!”
