The Blue River Café offers a relaxed and informal ambience with a delightful riverside location. Here you can savour the beautiful surroundings, while enjoying a choice of fabulous food and great service.

Why not unwind on our riverside terrace, and enjoy views of the Maidenhead Bridge, or just watch the water, boats and world drift by? Our restaurant is popular with hotel guests and local residents alike.

The Blue River Café has a wide-ranging, freshly-prepared menu to suit most tastes and food is available all day, from breakfast through to late evening. The daily and à la carte menus are predominantly ‘English Modern’ cuisine and whever possible based around seasonal ingredients. And, of course, we offer a Children’s Menu for our younger guests.

You can also relax in the bar area on comfortable leather sofas, where we serve a light food menu all day, along with a range of cocktails, an extensive wine list and great
cappuccinos.

We can cater for a number of smaller celebrations from surprise birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, to leaving parties. Our chef will be happy to discuss a suitable menu for your special occasion. Our friendly and professional staff will be more than happy to assist you.

 SUMMER BBQ

What better way to enjoy the summer sunshine with alfresco dining by the River Thames? Relax and enjoy the BBQ in our riverside garden at the Thames Riviera with BBQ’s every Saturday and Sunday commencing 29th May (weather permitting), and try out a jug or two of our delicious cocktails: Pimms £10.95 per jug, Sex on the Beach £12.95 per jug, and Blue Lagoon £12.95 per jug.

LIVE SUNDAY LUNCH JAZZ

Our resident saxophonist Jimmy Cannon will be presenting some of the Finest Jazz Singers in the country, including Trudy Ferr, Neil Gordon, Sally Creedon, Laura Zakian, Brigitte Beraha, Sophie Smith and Kate Winter.

The Jazz will start at 1.00pm and carry on through Lunch till 4.00pm.

The event occurs on the first Sunday of the month.
