Redwood Hotel & Country Club is the perfect location for ceremonies and receptions. Set in 16 acres of grounds, the photo opportunities are endless.
The Hotel has a number of flexible suites that are ideal for a variety of wedding celebrations, including civil ceremonies. Whether it’s a more intimate celebration for 10, or a larger reception for over 200 people, our friendly and experienced staff are here to ensure you have a fabulous and memorable day.
Redwood can offer you a variety of menus and wine lists to create your ideal meal, or if you decide to have a certain theme then your personal Wedding Coordinator will ensure that your day is tailor made just for you.
Wedding Receptions & Suites
We have a number of suites that can be used for ceremonies and receptions.
Garden Suite - The Garden Suite has a private bar, reception lounge with stage and dance floor. The suite has access to the lawn area where reception drinks can be taken, weather-permitting. The Suite accommodates up to 200 guests for a sit-down reception and 250 for an evening reception.
Clifton Suite - The Clifton Suite is a light and airy room, with its own bar and dance floor. It can accommodate up to 70 for a sit-down reception and 100 for an evening reception.
Cinema Lounge - Filled with natural daylight, this pretty room can hold 30 for a sit-down reception or 40 for an evening reception with a licence for civil ceremonies also.
Panelled Room - The Panelled Room is in the Restaurant area of the Hotel, dating back to 1898, and now restored to its former glory. This suite is ideal for the smaller gathering and can accommodate up to 30 guests for a sit-down reception.
Oak Room - The Oak Room is in the Restaurant area of the Hotel and is perfect for any dinner party of up to 50 guests. This room may be used for the Wedding Breakfast before moving on to a larger room for your evening reception.
Wedding Ceremonies
Redwood Hotel & Country Club is licensed to hold both civil marriage ceremonies and same gender commitment ceremonies on the premises.
Ceremonies for up to 200 guests can be conducted and can take place seven days a week. The latest time a ceremony can take place at the hotel is 5.00pm.

- Exclusive use of your own private function room (the Hotel as a whole does not offer exclusive use for events including Weddings)
We can also assist with many other aspects of the day, but extra charges may apply for this.
