The Bull and Swan at Stamford in Lincolnshire has oodles of history complemented by great well-conditioned local ales, a diverse but unstuffy wine, fantastic food list and a dedicated, professional and yet relaxed team.

You can choose the traditional bar, the ‘Bedlam’ dining room or, weather-permitting the secluded courtyard. We serve the same menu for lunch and supper so there’s no excuse not to visit. We also have the best-kept secret in Stamford - seven amazingly good-value bedrooms.
