Ambady is a 70-acre estate in a secluded setting in the Sahya rainforest, surrounded by the Parvathy Hills. It is about five miles from Munnar a hill station town in the Western Ghats mountains of Kerala.

Munnar is one of the most popular hill stations in South India. It is in the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala.  There are large tea plantations, forests, hill ranges, valleys and wildlife.

Kundala Lake is an artificial reservoir with boating.

Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is an ideal spot for trekking and enjoying wildlife close-up, such as the grizzled giant squirrel, panthers, spotted deer, elephants and tigers as well as 245 species of birds.

Lakkom Waterfalls. On the way to Udumalaipettai, Lakkom waterfalls is part of the Eravikulam National Park.
